Who We Are
The Oyo State Ministry of Justice was originally established in 1954 as the Legal Guardian of the then Western Region of Nigeria. The Ministry is led by the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice as the Chief Law Officer of the State who has vast constitutional powers over prosecutions in the State. The Attorney -General helps to champion the Rule of Law and ensures fair and equal access to Justice for all.
